3 Reasons for not using a Pay-Per-Click system as the only means of promoting your site?

1. Cost: Essentially you are bidding for the same competitive terms with every one in World and there are a limited number of placements to go around so you are competing for a set grouping of advertising at a rising cost. The average cost-per-click is 25 to 50 cents or higher. Some bids go as high as $10-20.00 a click.

The Solution: Optimizing and search engine placement cost are currently at 5 cents a click or lower using  a one year program. So, if you have a page with good content, (which we can create for you) you will not only pick up the traffic for your main terms but also people typing sentences, groups of words, and or using symbols to add or subtract specific words.

3. Long Term Success: The PPC's have only been used significantly for the past year. Before the PPC process, there was the Banner Ad, then the Pop-Up Ad. Fads come and go. We advise our clients to take advantage of them while they are viable. Eventually they will be ignored as the consumer gets knowledgeable that advertisers in those positions are paying higher advertising cost that are being passed on to them. Same as happened with the Banner Ad. This is already happening. In the past 6 months, click rates and ROI convergence has been going down for PPC users.

As long as search engines exist, it will be the most effective and affordable method of getting your site know to the World. We are not saying to stop using PPC. This is not correct. Optimizing and Search Engine Placement are processes by which a person adjust the content of your site and meta tags or creates topic specific pages for you. He/she lists your site in the proper directories and then manages your submissions on a monthly basis and sends you reports and audits of his/her efforts and makes suggestions on what should be done next. That is what an SEOP (Search Engine Optimization Professional) does, not merely manage a PPC account. An SEOP is a talented and trained professional who has spent months or years studying Search Engines and their functions. Like a good Lawyer, Doctor, Accountant, Plummer, he is a craftsperson who can help you. However, as with every profession, there are swindlers and con men. We recommend that you do not use any SEOP who at least doesn't offer references or a client list with links you can contact.
